White Box Phenomenon

Here is a picture of the white boxes, together with edited versions.

They are, top to bottom, from: Mantle Clock, Watch Springs, Airport, Cuckoos, Gears, Starfield, Calendars, Repair Table, Hourglass

Note: The "Gears" white box appears at the begining to the top left of the clock, BEFORE the Gears puzzle appears

Research and references

The wite boxes obviously must be combined to form a symbol of some kind. Researched the internet about two tailed animals. (See the Cuckoos white box). Can't figure out the Mantle Clock and the Gears whiteboxes, they resemble stylisized scorpion members, or wings. Researched "scorpions" and "manticores". Nothing relevant came up. Looked over a lot of symbol related sites. I found none that resemble this one.
